Don’t leave me alone

Eyes were enthralled to see you,

You were floating above my head,

over the sky,

Appears as black and white,

enticing the emotions,

Moving rhythmically to somewhere.

Hiding the Sun from us,

Strewed across the sky,

By seeing you,

I apprehended various shapes.

I saw angels playing on your surface,

Laughing folks and

flocks of sheep.

I was lone company of you,

Enjoying the glittering surface

of your edges,

Spending the whole day

watching your beauty,

I too disappeared myself

in you,

Stood watching and feeling jealous-

As you were free to move anywhere.

I saw the world through camera,

I saw kids playing,

Beauty of river and mountains,

I saw everything except me,

Everything gave me pose,

waiting for my click,

I zoomed the world through my fingers,

I loved to see the world outside me

through the camera lens

It stood as a barrier between me and world outside

As a third-eye it captured everything

I came across,

I narrowed down the world in to pics,

Sometimes the world outside was crying,

whereas the images were emotionless,

I got bored off seeing the motionless world,

wandered several places to find satisfaction,

Everywhere I was welcomed with

the same images,

The images to be clicked.

 

 

Darkness of night

Sometimes, I am afraid of darkness,

Especially those fearsome nights,

When I woke up in the middle of sleep

Those nights felt lengthier than usual ones,

I was tired, but sleep was standing away

Street dogs were barking incessantly,

And the cicadas sound too rattling the ears,

Lost my patience over not getting sleep,

Switching the positions of head

My bed was placed near to window

The window was not draped

Chilled air was entering in to the room

My face was bathed by the moonlight

Stars twinkling above my head,

tickling my eyebrows,

Branches of the tree was often caressing

my window glass

The leaves appears sleeping,

Fireflies strewed across branches

Challenging the lights of the stars

As if it were dropped on earth

Everything on the earth were sleeping

Except me and those barking street dogs,

It was piercing through my ear-drums.

You saved me

I was alone,

You came into my loneliness

as companion,

It was darkness,

You torched light,

Path was not clear,

You guided my to go,

I was hungry,

Your fed me with your hand,

I was tired,

You hold my hand with your palm,

My mind was empty,

You filled the vacancy,

I was unattached,

You bonded me with the world,

I was not confident,

You gave me courage.

In the mood of love

After long waiting

After breaking the silence

After cutting down the curiosity

We met again

Silence sprang in our eyes

Face was down as,

it was filled with long desire to meet

We could not talk for a while, as if

the tongue was paralyzed

We moved together for hours and

We didn’t how it went so so long,

Walking through the narrow road,

surrounding the park

was filled with silence

Weather was cozy,

accompanied with cool breeze.

We felt that the day was made for us

Pavement was strewed with yellowish flowers

Happiness was accompanied by slight drizzling

Sat on a street bench,

Suddenly, it happened

happened in the form of downpour

It has joined us together

under the shelter of an umbrella,

Atmosphere was so nice and specially made for us

As it was blessing us with its deeds

Gods were enthralled with our union

and blessed us with rain and cool breeze

As there were many benches

and our time was limited

we switched from one bench to another

Pedestrians were passing without noticing us or

we didn’t feel they passes by

Nothing was bothering, except time

It was only enemy ahead of us,

Enjoyed the mood, filled

with warmness and silence

Sun was slowly sinking in the western horizon and

Darkness pervades slowly as

gloominess started pervades into our faces,

Did not felt waiting for bus

as the hours left was precious.

Reached the place, where we have to say

good by for the day,

Mind was full and eyes were wet,

Voice was feeble and short,

We spoke with eyes,

Waiting was curious and painful,

however, parting too is painful

To my dearest

A lazy man’s day

Woke up by the barking sound of some street dogs

Eyes were heavy and drowsy,

But it was getting disturbed by the growling

I was always afraid of the woof

Scared of this sound since childhood,

I could not get ride of it even now..

 

Sleep was disturbed by the intense noise,

I searched for the alarm-clock

with half-eyed open,

I touched, but it fallen down and glasses broken

and the rattling was reverberating my ears

 

Got up from bed throwing the bed-sheet

by cursing the day,

Cleaned the place with lot of effort

to avoid injury,

I tried to mop the floor and carried the

glass pieces to dust-bin

 

Lied on the couch for relaxing,

it was only ten,

my regular time is up to late noon,

thought of sleeping for a while,

Tried, but the dogs still barking outside,

Ah!! stomach is feeling hungry too,

 

I felt lazy,

but hunger is instigating me,

I went to toilet,

while brushing gum got injured because

of my carelessness

Somehow, it was finished

 

Moved to kitchen to eat something,

Fridge was checked,

Disappointed of seeing it is empty,

Cursed myself of being lazy,

of not buying things

 

Lazy-mood has not allowed me to

walk down to restaurant,

Instead, I tried for home delivery-

food service

 

Switched on the TV,

and tried to watch something,

felt bored and thrown the remote,

hearing the ringing sound,

I opened the door,

My food has arrived,

 

Summer days

The day felt very long as

it was very hot

Sun was throwing its rays which

cut across the atmospheric layer

Traces of clouds are not seen

anywhere

Lakes were evaporated by the intense summer

Cattle wandered across the field to

fetch water

Tree were left with leave-less branches

Hornbills, sitting on the branches

lifting its beak, waiting for the rain

Cicades were tired of

its crying for water

Soil was parching.

Ponds were dried of intense summer,

Nightingale were not singing as

they were more thirsty.

Traffic block

I don’t like traffic

but sometimes

I am held up in a traffic-block

Today, it is hectic and

the line is too lengthy

Vehicle toots were

piercing my ear

Those in bikes were

percolates  through the

narrow space between

the long array of vehicles

It was raining too,

Waiting is always a curse,

but sometimes you are forced to do

Morning downpour

Woke up by the pealing thunder

Disturbed by the sonorous sound

And spoor, I enjoys in early morning,

 

Eyes half opened,   

Looking for the alarm clock,

It was almost six,

 

Frightened by the rattling sound,

I lost my sleep,

Got up from the bed

 

Window door was creaked open

With a blare, eyes were blinked by

The flashing  light

 

I tried to shut the window door,

Against the trust of the wind and

It was pouring drops on my face

 

My skin felt titillated by the zephyr

Hair was moving in symphony

I stood there, watching  the rain

 

Bushes were drenched by the water,

Leaves bend down in weight and

Crows, bathing on the branch

 

I couldn’t resist myself in watching this

Awesome moments, my nerves

Felt warmness

 

I showed my palm on the water falling

Through the shades of the window

Just before departure

He is in his last hours,

About to descend on the sea,

Lost his vigor,

Tired of traveling long distance,

He is not raging now,

Those reddish rays were still blinking

my eyes,

Backwater has regenerated him over its surface,

As the wind has waved through the water,

he started move along in symphony

Those bushes on the banks

appears more shiny as

the rays cut across

the branches

Greenish leaves smiled as he fondled them

He was more gorgeous at this moment

Disappointed by all these

he just departed from my sight,
